flashing a ms28 with a intel 945p chipset

i have a tsh943A with ms28 my computer is a dell dimension 9100 with the intel 945p chipset in my device manager i have both a 82801g and 82801 gh so can i bad flash this drive succesfully or do i need to buy a via vt 6421l sata pci card to do this when i try to do it the screen comes up and i type in xread 12345.... and it gives me a choice of what drive to choose so i shut down the console and choose the drive and i get a port fe00 error and then i turn on the console and nothing happens when i hit escape it says 0 should be 70 what the hell am i doing wrong

unfortunately you absolutely must have a VIA chipset if you have a ms28

i bought mine from tekgems it was like 15 dollars and it showed up in 2 days.

also it sounds like your doing it all right, you just must have a VIA
