Hi, I bought a falcon not so long ago with a missing dvd drive. So I rgh'ed it to get the osig. Osig: PLDS DG-16D2S 7485. So I Then bought a dg16d2s to replace the missing dvd drive. Now that I have both the osig and the dvd drive what do I need to do. To be honest i've tried a couple of things in jungle flasher(with my ck3i and usb pro) but without any success. I also followed the jungle flasher tut. BTW I want to flash the stock F/W.
What I've tried; lite-on erase -> target firmware stock lite-on dg16d2s 74850c 1a000 -> manual spoof with the correct dvd key -> Write -> Outro -> Key is verified..... Then i plug it back into the 360 -> insert a game disc -> the games start loading then the "dirty disc" screen appear.

Any help would be much apreciated.

it sounds like you bought a dodgy drive. dirty disc errors are related to the the laser being faulty or the drive motor. if the game loads at all or even just shows its photo and name on the launch tab then the key is good. you get play dvd message on the launch tab when its wrong.
The game photo nor the name shows up on the launch tab. But its loading till the dirty disc error show up.

I'm I doing something wrong?

It is probably just the laser. eBay I believe is the cheapest place to get lasers. It might be the drive motor too like garageinc said. Both are fairly easy to change out but if it is a new drive I would get an exchange or a refund from whoever you bought it from. Also is it really loud and takes a while to read discs? Your flash probably went fine but do you have jf log to show?

14719... should I be using the 02510C even if the osig is 7485?

I have another lite-on drive so I will try again to see if its me or the other drive that is broken. Its not loud but it takes a while to load.
