flashing and laser help

im pretty sure i killed the laser off when probing my Liteon DG-16D2S 02510C drive since im getting open tray well i have a hitachi model drive can i take the laser off that drive and replace it with my liteons drive?

no you can't they are 2 different you will need to go buy a lite-on - benq lens

also doing whats called a pot tweak can sort open tray if you want a quick fix
