Flashing back to retail...

Hy all, I'm on my first in hopefully a long string of Xbox mods, I have a jasper 512 and am installing the RJTAG Ult. kit. I have completed the soldering and and 4 matched dumps of the nand, reflashed Xell, and have been having a bit of a time getting xell to boot. So, I have decided to revert back to the stock nand and see if the thing still even boots normally, so I loaded flashdump1.bin from the 4 dumps in Jrunner, ticked jasper 512mb in XeBuild, ticked retail, and hit write nand. I then desoldered the red 5v wire and turned the switch off on the bottom of the board before booting. I have been having trouble with 0010 error via the three red lights while testing different combos, so of course when I tried to boot back to retail, guess what... the 3 lights and 0010. I am wondering if the process I used to return to stock sounds correct to you all, or am I off base?

load flashdump1.bin into source.. have your psu plugged in but console off, make sure nand-x is wired up to the console (or jrp2 if thats what you're using) then just hit write nand from the top

no need to build a retail image.. you already have a stock nand :)
