flashing bios question please help me

i have evry thing setup i just got to the part where i have to flash the chip i have an ver 1.5 xbox and it says flash bios 3.0.1 or 3.0.3 i can get either one of these but my question is , what am i doing wrong when i try to flash it it goes thro all the steps that i saw in the tutorial, but all it will go to is the enable network bios or from hdd ordisc, unlock hdd or lock hdd. but icant seem to get any further can some one help me get it. im asuming that its not flashing correctly but im not sure , it seems to be doing the right stuff but i dont know any help woulld be apprecieated ..

let me explain better for you. Flashbios is legal bios and it's main function is to allow you to flash to other bioses, namely hacked bios. This is the only way for the chip to be sold legally. With just flashbios, the fancy X3 chip is nothing but a chip. What it needs is hacked bios (illegal bios) to give it's full potential in functionality. As you can see, you can't download these hacked bioses anywhere except for a very "special place". Thus what you need to do now is to go to this special place and download the hacked X3 bios version 3029. Read the following link for more info: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php.

Once you download the bios from there, make sure to extract the files from the rar file and use specifically the X3 3029.bin file as your bios since you have v1.5 xbox. You would need to read this guide to flash: http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/

IMHO, http is the best method since it's quick and no need to burn cd/dvd's.
