Ok I was reading the FlashBIOS instructions, and it talks about making a Flash Compliant CD. If I do this, does that mean I boot up after installing the chip with this CD in and it will load my new BIOS?

You're basically writing your X3 BIOS to a CD to install to the chip. It's actually far easier to use HTTP to flash the BIOS.
