...the 'hard' part is over, you have the chip up and running, you just need to flash a bios to it and install a dashboard.

xbox 360 bad graphics
hi everyone I have this xbox360 thats giving me bad graphics when i play new games only, for example when i play facebraker all the graphics look fine but when i play modern warfare 2 i see black faded lines going up and down . any idea why this is happening? also this is just when i play the game, the pause menu and the dashboard look fine.

very soon your 360 will suffer the dreaded,,RROD,..when it does you can see what route you will take to repair it!!,,If its in warrnety just send that f**ker back!!!

dude, dont wait, the longer you wait the worse it'll get, not just bad graphics, but also you have a chance of frying one or both of your processors....
just do the x-clamp fix...there is no need to wait til you get RROD...

you can buy all the parts at home depot/lowes....just google x-clamp part list...that should fix it...any paste will do, i got mine from radioshack...id get the highest percent alcohol you can get, some q-tips, and just have patience...
do NOT use sandpaper or anything abrasive on the processor to clean it....just alcohol and q-tips....it takes a while but you will eventually be able to see your reflection on the processors if you do it right...

the most expensive is gonna be the paste...but in all it should cost between 10-15 bucks tops....
you gotta buy the washers and screws separately in little packages...
