Flashing did not work....

k i have the v1.0 xbox, in dash1 it says flashbios 3.0.1 and in dash2 it says flashbios 3.03. k in unlocked my HDD and while in dash2 i put the M8 with a dummy on a disc and it says the error no bios found blah blah, so i read more and since i have an older xbox i did the m7 with a dummy and it still says no bios found. i read over the newbie thing for like about 3 hrs now and i still cant get it to work...

any clues???

PS - you have an X3. Get the X3 1959 BIOS. The others will work but are not as feature-rich.

Hi.

Can i replace any flashed dvd drive in a new xbox.

As long as you have the original dvd drive key !!!! to spoof onto the replacement drive

Yeah the dvd drive that came from the original 360 system....without that key your 360 will be useless....a large paper weight.
