I'm hoping I can answer my own question but would appreciate a nod and a wink from the experts here
OK, so I'm using a X3 modchip on a v1.4 XBOX.
To cut a long story short, due to problems a while back, I am running this using a 512k X2 bios installed on bank 12 (ON, ON, ON, OFF, OFF).
I'd now like to re-install the old 1MB X3 bios I was using, but want to make sure I don't delete the X2 version installed on bank 12 in case I have problems.
Would I be right in saying if I flash the X3 onto bank 5678 (OFF, ON, OFF, OFF) if it doesn't work I can change my bank settings back to bank 12 and run the X2 version. It shouldn't get overwritten.
