Flashing Freezes

I just recently completed my 10th Xecuter install. All of my previous installs were successful, but I'm having some strange problems with this last one. When I initially installed the Xecuter on this v1.5 xbox, everything was working fine. I powered the box up, flashed the bios, and installed a dashboard. After about a week, one of my games froze right in the middle of playing. I cycled power on the xbox and when it booted back up it booted to the flashbios screen. It appeared as if my BIOS was no longer there.

I attempted to re-flash the BIOS but every time during the flashing it freezes and the lights behind the power switch blink between amber and green. I took the box apart and re-flowed all solder points. Still the same results.

Any ideas?

Your bios cant just disappear and replace itself with cromwell

Sounds like`a problem with the swich panel..just remove it at the x3 mod side and pwr up.

If your original bios re-appears then switches need investigating..
If cromwell appears as u describe above then try re-flashing still with no switches attached. (get a fresh download of x3 bios to rule out corrupt file)
if this`works then again investigate switches.

You dont need the switches to use the x3 so u can do everything the switches do once u get a bios on with config live.
