I modded my box with the xecuter 2. Flashed all the 4 banks it had. Everything worked great and I loved it. Since the X3 came out, I took out my xecuter 2 chip and sold it to a friend. i thought the xbox would run normally back to factory settings, but I was wrong. My xbox doesn't boot up. I think it's because I flashed the bios with new ones and didn't flash it back to the original before I took it out. Now that I am planning to get the X3, I was wondering if I would have problems? If I install the X3, will it read the bios i flashed it with? I'm confused if thats the actual problem. Can I re-flash the bios without a modchip back to the original? I'm really new to this, but haven't had any problems chipping my xbox.

Info on xbox
-version 1.0
-kernel 4034

modded to
-xecuter 2.0 pro
-120gb hard drive

Any help will be helpful.

If the Xbox isn't working with the chip removed, it could be your d0 point is either trashed or bridged with solder. It has nothing to do with the Xboxes onboard BIOS unless you purposefully soldered the bridges on the board for TSOP flashing.
