I searched the Firmware Support and Guides & Tutorials for a noob explanation but i didn't find
6 Months ago I tried to update from stock to LT+ 1.1 and something wrong happened so I went to a guy and gave him the Dummy file and then he flashed it for me now i want to do it without his going to him
Basic info that i know:
1-I have a Liteon 83850C don't remember if it is V1 or V2
2-Current firmware LT+ 1.1
3-Dashboard 2.0.12625.0
4-I have (Dummy,Identify,Inquiry,Key,Lite_CFW,Serial).bin files
5-I don't have any probs so am depending on connecting Xbox to My PC via sata cable
6-when I tried to flash it before it was on a different PC
7-current PC motherboard is gigabyte g31m-s2c
I have read Jungle tutorial and alot of topics and this is what I think I should do so I want your help to confirm that I understood correctly
I'll write the exact steps that I am going to do:
1-Connect xbox DVD with sata cable to my PC
2-open jungle Flasher and from MTK tab I'll choose the I/O port that has my DVD
3-then I'll go to Frimware tab and load Dummy.bin in the source(a msg pop-up tells me to auto-load lite-on i don't know if i should press yes or no)
load orig-83850C.bin or orig-83850C_V2.bin (don't know which one yet ) in Target
4-click spoof Source to Target and make sure the date is copied from source to target
5-go to MTK tab and click Lite-On Erase a msg will pop-up wanting to confirm erase i'll press yes
6-another msg will pop-up don't know what does it mean but i'll press yes
7-when i see "Drive returned status 0xD0" i'll turn xbox off then on
8-if i get "Drive is now in Vendor Mode (0x72)" i'll click write
9-if everything gone as planned i'll click Outro/ATA Reset
10-now xbox is flashed to stock
11-I'll connect DVD to xbox and install latest update using a usb flash
12-connect it back to pc
13-am not sure what i should do next
