Flashing green middle dot is because you don't have dvd drive connected as you figured out by yourself. But if you want us to help you with glitching, you will need to provide us some informations, logs and photos.

OK here are some pics my apologizes but you probably wont be able to get much out of them sadly my camera broke the other day so i am forced to use my phone

BTW i rewrote the nand back to stock in case of some sort of error in writeing

this one is when i boot the console WITH the DVD Drive power cable

when i boot without the drive the green center light flashes fast i can still operate the drive (ejectt the tray and it seems to try to read the disc)

and i cant remeber off hand how i did it but at one point i got ti to alternate in a pattern some rapid flashes followed by a longer sustained one

ANY WAY I DO THIS the cr4 looks like this

and it refuses to glitch no matter what i do could the dips or a bad write be a factor?

BTW before you ask for pics of my solder im able to use j-runner perfectly and i had not points touching on a continuity check on the CR4 but i can upload them later today if they are ABSOLUTELY needed sorry

or should i try re writing the ECC on the nand? im soo lost

Recheck all connections. I would revert back to stock and make sure console boots. If console boots ok rewrite xell and try again. I have had a bad cr4 xl it would try to glitch forever and never boot. I could heat the cr4 xl up with a hair dryer it would boot fine within 3 glitches.

OKAY i got some decent pics

Here is the cr4 board a little while ago i accidentally got solder on that point beside the G does that matter with the wires im using i dont see any traces leading to the wires and i added electrical tape over the points on the back of the board and now the DEBUG light isnt turning on at all?

here is my white wire (DB1F1)

Here is the red wire that supplies power to the CR4 (but im sure you knew that already lol)

Here is the yellow wire on the bottom of the bord (FT6U7)

Here is the blue wire on the back of the board (Cant remember the point name off hand but as far as i know its correct)

and that about does it ALL my NAND-X wires are perfectly fine it may not be a perfect solder job but as long as it functions i don't care how it looks :)

and it boots fine with the stock nand so im sure this is a ECC problem but i dont know where im going wrong...

this is what my Xe build window looks like before i build the ECC? is there something im missing? because after i write the ECC it starts having trouble.

so what am i missing in this photo? i really dont know.....

i need to know what the heck is going on?

thanks in advance,
Nikkoli

YOU NEED TO FIX EVERY SINGLE SOLDER POINT NO JOKE!

C7R112 looks okay, I would leave it alone unless it causes you problems later on.

Try trimming all of your wires as short as possible twist them up a little then solder to the board.
You need to clean up any residue left over.

Clean up your CR4 especially, I would remove all the points and flux them all.

Your soldering is very dry. I would recommend using some flux paste and resold wring all the cr4 points.

Your biggest problem is that solder on the IPEX plug on the left of the "G" point. With that blob there your grounding the CPU-rst. Hence the green light not flashing.
Use some desoldering braid and suck that solder out of there.

Beyond that you just have to tune it properly.

Other then you might as well have updated it to the latest dashboard yeah it's fine.

Also to reiterate you don't need to worry about the power light flashing on the console with no DVD drive hooked up. That's normal and simply indicates that there is no drive connected.

Once you fix the IPEX plug your cr4 should have a green light flash every 5 seconds until the console boots.

Rater is great for tuning but if you don't know how to read it it won't help much for you.

wait light flashing every 5 seconds!? and DONT worry about the DVD light!? I DIDNT HAVE A GODFORSAKEN PROBLEM IN THE FIRST FRIGGIN PLACE WTF i wasnt aware you were supposed to WAIT how long on average for the first boot?

P.S. probobly should have mentioned that earlier... my bad XD

The green light flashing on the chip is called the debug light. It will flash approx every 5 secs. Every time the debug light flash's we call it a glitch cycle. It will keep flashing until it boots the Xbox. It can take up to 20 cycles to boot the Xbox, some less, some more.
The cr4 with the correct settings ( right combination of dips and postbit jumpers) will give fast boot times.

I really think he is referring to the center green light on the rol board. The center light on the (ring of light) board is the power light for the console when the disc drive is hooked up the center light stays solid green but if the disc drive is removed the light will flash it has nothing to do with the glitch or the cr4 or anything like that and it doesn't cause no video issues afaik.

But if you got so far as to write the ecc then it is probably glitching and just need to wait and let it glitch u til it boots and get the keys make the xebuild image flash it and tune it.
