Flashing Help

Well, I got my modchip all installed, working and I get the Xecuter FlashBIOS 3.0.1 Screen, Trying to flash 3.0.3 it looks like it works, it say's it flashes then after it turns my xbox off, I do the quik power on and it goes back to the FlashBIOS 3.0.1 screen. I have my bank set at on on off off off and if I choose anything else I get a black screen and if I goto the original setup (the backup) I get a service error. My Xbox version is a 1.6 and I have a Xecuter3CE mod chip. I had to sotter it because the sotterless kit didnt work... Well, any help is greatly appriciated...

Oh yeah, i've tried upgrading from a disk and I have the flashbios_303.bin file in the root directory and it doesn't work... I also tried making an xiso, but i still couldn't get the disk function to work...

this may tell you what your doing wrong
flashbios 3.0.1 for v1.0 to v1.6 xboxs but not v1.6b
flashbios 3.0.3 for v1.0 to v1.6b xboxs but not v1.6
allso your flashing the wrong bios for the chip to work this is what you should be flashing flashbios is a tool to flash the below bios to the chip it will not boot backups or hacked dash /apps/emu
X3 3294 V1.0 TO V1.5 xboxs
X3 3294 V16 PLUS V1.6 1.6B xboxs

use a cd-rw not a cd-r

Thank you, this was great help... I have another question... Can I use a cd-rw to put emulators on my xbox or do I just unlock my drive then put it in my computer?

heres a site with guides to get you started read as much as you can on what you wish to do before trying it

you can put a dash (needed to run emu) by ftp (network) it to xbox
or use a auto install whitch you download then burn to dvd-r then run in xbox and it will let you install the dash you wish as well as apps and emus
suggest Auto installer deluxe 3.10
