First off, I'm going to apologize in advance to each and every one of you. I'm VERY new at this, have no idea what I'm doing or talking about, and this will probably piss you guys off, but I'd really appreciate some help.

I have this Xbox on ebay, and the auction ends in 6 hours. If I can flash it before that, then I'll be really happy. If not I'll probably be forced to sell it :(

Anyways, I have Lite-on 83850C. I don't know how to tell if It's a V1 or V2, sorry.

I've looked up some tuts but a lot of the ones have missing pictures, show specifically for v1/v2, or are really outdated, or refer to HackingJungle.com (which is down :/)

So, if you guys could help me out with flashing my Xbox I'd REALLY appreciate it.

Thanks! :)

If you update to latest dash first if not already that will be a good start, you'll need a compatible chipset or usbpro ck3 and probe v3 :)

You wont need the exact above but i find it best to use ck3i, probe v3 and x360usb pro, only because i have a laptop :)

I am on the latest dashboard. Also, what are all those things you were talking about, and where can I get them...? (I'd like to do this for free. If that's not possible, the cheapest you can imagine.)

You could really do with an Xecuter Probe 3, a CK3i and an X360USB Pro in order to do this properly.

These are excellent pieces of kit and they work flawlessly.

If you have the latest dashboard its not a 8000 series drive anymore its a 2510. You wont be able to flash it without the right equipment so getting somebody to flash it for you would be the cheapest thing to do. And btw hacking jungle has been down for awhile, I know the guys who ran it and they are just into other ventures now.:(

I'm not talking about 3rd party devices, I'm just wondering if there is some method or technique I could use that doesn't require any kit, or purchasing any additional components.
