flashing ltu replacement pcb with via sata?

Hi, I bought an LTU replacement pcb for 1175 liteon drive. I got the dvd key with rgh and now I must flash the board. can I use a via sata board or can it be flashed only with x360 usb?

x360usb only m8, normal sata is incompatable and can damage your hardware
