I just recently bought an xbox 360 hdmi motherboard because my old one got the ring of red lights. So, now im trying to flash my Hitachi 47 drive with my new motherboard's key. I managed to successfully flash the key, however, I forgot to spoof the firmware. I have to spoof it to a Hitachi 79 drive. The keys already flashed on the drive, like I said. But what do I do about spoofing the firmware. 360 firmware toolbox refused to read my drive when I was trying to spoof. Do I have to spoof the firmwarefirst then flash the drive, or what?? I can't find any tutorials on how to spoof it without 360 fw toolbox, so im guessing its necessary. Can someone please post a tutorial that goes in depth or at least explains what I'm doing wrong.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Re: FLASHING MOTHERBOARD KEYS AND SPOOFING FIRMWARE, PLEASE

Open firmware toolbox.
Open the iXtreme 12x firmware file for the v47 Hitachi.
Paste in the new motherboard's key. Replace key.
Go to tools, spoof firmware. Select the v79 drive as what to spoof as.
Save this firmware.

Now flash this firmware file using the batch file in the v47 firmware archive like normal. Easy.
