Flashing never completes with X3 bios

I can't seem to get the X3 bios to flash properly. My dip switches are 1,2 on 3,4,5 off I can flash flash bios v3.0.3 to it without difficulties, but I can never get any other bios to fully complete the task.

What might I be doing incorrectly?

What happens when you try to flash the X3 BIOS to it?

It uploads the flash sucessfully and then starts the flashing process and then quits after about 1/3 of the way.

Yes the Yellow bar goes full, the green bar goes 1/3 of the way.

try flashing it on a diffrent bank example if your FlashBIOS switch setting is like on on off off off then try off on off off off

I would suggest reseating the modchip or trying a different flashing method.

Ok I fixed it, thanks for the help. When I tried to reseed the mod I think I broke loose a solider joint, as soon as I touched the pins with solider all is well. Thanks for the help

Yup, reseating the modchip also shows how stable your soldering job actually is. There seemed to be a bad joint there.
