Ok, so the situation is as so;
Just got a new motherboard pre xdg3
I've got the drive key which I would like to flash to a new drive[ flash new drive to stock firmware]
Now this is my take on things, [please correct me]
open jungleflasher
load dummy.bin as source[ original key from mb]
load stock firmware as target
[which one from the firmware pack as there are quite a few pre 13141 liteon firmwares to choose from?]
then proceed to erase flash
is this correct?
ive flashed my benq many times but this is my first time doing a liteon
Thanks

if your console is pre 13141 dashboard then use any stock (7xxxx,8xxxx,9xxxx
then spoof to your dummy.bin so key can match...

if your console dashboard is after 13141 the use the 02510 firmware...

thanks robuklen for your quick reply,
I did the above but i get a message after i hit liteon erase, along the lines of
are sure you want to erase as the target does not match drive [something along these lines i'll give you the proper message in a bit]
so i hit no for now

If his drive is pre 13141 and its a 74850 then he needs to use stock 74850

Edit: OP what dashboard is it on ?

Not sure, just know its pre 13141[have not connected it up yet]

So heres what i did
opened my orig dummy as source
loaded a pre13141 stock liteon as target
then tried liteon erase
this is what messages i get;
target dvd key cannot be verified to drive! are you sure you wish to proceed ?
I click yes then i get;
the target f/w in does not appear to match the attached drive!
this is based on a comparison of the drive barcode.
Please make sure you have done DVDkey32.
are you sure you wish to proceed

now i click no
where am i going wrong
thanks

If it's a new drive then the target firmware won't match as it thinks it's the drive out of the console and it's trying to match the key, just press yes to carry on the flash.

Thanks Mr Holmes
ok . I proceeded to flash and all seems to be good except one possible issue,
In jungleflasher, under drive properties
under dvd key is says ; not found, instead of verified. Does that matter at all, or am I being paranoid

It's ok the next time you flash that drive it will be varified as it's been added to the database.
