Flashing not worked 74850c

HI all tryed flashing this Lit-on 74850c it plays real games but want play my back up dont no were am going wrong done this Tool 32 Tab Load your dummy.bin as the source and 0251 LT3.0 as target firmware, spoof the source to target.

Next go to the MTK Flash 32 tab and press the Lite-on erase. Power cycle after which the drive should get into vendor mode. Press write, when done use the outro reset button but still want work on back up games thanks for some help.

have you tried tweaking the laser? more strain on backups. if originals are working i can't see the flash been the problem.

maybe it's your back ups that are bad.what happens when you put the back up in..

what back up are your trying..

tweaking the laser isnt as easy as some people think best bet and the longest for use is to buy a new laser they shouldn't cost you no more than £9 remember to remove anti static points on the laser I used to twaek them but more often than not its so much eaiser just to replace it . Look in trader advertising there are many guys here that can sell you one . If you are worried about installing it . Put a request in for fitting it . I don't have any at the mo myself but if I did I would offer it you


AS dgex states as well is it your backups .. What discs did you use ? and have you kprobe'd them to see if they burnt ok?

it's a weak laser then.replace laser then should be fine..

What way do you tweak the laser as my have go at that in the time am looking for new laser thanks.

tweaking a laser isnt as easy as it may look firstly you need a multimeter and a fine tip screwdriver small adjsutments rechecking ohm's and retesting the drive . All you are doing in effect is making the diode in the laser brighter to read discs this will weaken the laser to the point it will not work at all then you will not be able to use it both myself and dgenx recomend just to put in box and get yourself a new laser at least you can still use orginals for the time being
