i dont get how this is so difficult. You guys did it once already when you first flashed, no?

Get mIRC, connect to a random Efnet server, join #xbins. Type "/msg xbins !list" (without the quotations). You will receive a message that tells you which site to log into and what login information to use. Use FLASH FXP or any favorite FTP program you desire. When you log in, simply go to BIOS, Xecuter version 3, and get the .RAR file. WHen you download the file, unrar it somewhere, and if you have a 1.6/1.6b xbox, use the file with "16" in it (i forget what it's called), if you have 1.0 -> 1.5, use the other one. Just rename it to "bios" and flash it using these instructions (i used network because it's so damn easy! It took 15 seconds literally):

http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios

As for the switches, just leave them the same as you first flashed the bios when you installed the chip, ON ON OFF OFF OFF.

You should have realized it was on when you got the "Flash Halted" message.

Well I finally got it it to work. You have to make sure that you rename the 1959/2913.bin file to bios.bin. Otherwise it will not flash, also make sure you are in the 1234(on on off off) or 5678(off on off off) bank. Make sure that the flash switch is off on the chip and the the switch. Finally make sure you flash with the 1.6 bios for 1.6 xbox and other bios for 1.0-1.5. Should have no problem after that.

I'm curious (I know this is definately the wrong place but it doesnt really fit anywhere) the minute issues like the dvd recognition when they are fixed is the current download updated or do you have to wait for the next release? No rush at all since its so minute mind you just a point of curiosity.

BTW bang up job guys update went without a hitch!

You dont need to rename it to "bios.bin" for it to work. I named mine "bios" without any extension and it works fine

Upgraded mine just fine. No Problem.
Read the docs First, use the correct version (1.6 vs. 'regular'), have any data you can't lose backed up, and take your time.
The only thing you can do quickly, is mess up.
