flashing prob BIG TIME

finally i flashed using the http method
now icant get my Flash bios screen to come up.and xbox wont boot. just has yellow blinkling light around the eject button, now what ? i beg of someone to please help me!!

1) Make sure bank 1 is selected (On,On,Off,Off,Off)

2) Boot to FlashBios by holding the power + eject button on XB bootup.

3)Try reflashing it using 3108, or if that fails try v3029

-Let me know what happens.

i put 3029 on , and it booted up,. then after it set a min before i could change settings or do anything , it turned off and had a blinkin orange light

also i got the flash bios screen to come up again
now the button turns red and i dont even get the chance to flash

First, I got your PM. Second, can we keep this in one thread please?

Moving on. Am I correct in saying the FlashBIOS screen DOES come up, but craps out with a red blinking light? Exactly at what point does it "crash"? You said you did get 3029 "on" successfully, so does X3CL come on? If it does, how/why did you go from X3CL to FlashBIOS?

-I need a clearer picture as to what's happening. If you can get the X3CL screen up, we're in business.

well heres the deal. i booted up after i flashed with 3029 perfectly then it crashes with a red green flashing light, seemed like before it crashed all was normal had the normal screen come up with 3029 bios detected, has the settings menu etc.. on it

Are you able to get back to the FlashBIOS screen (power + eject)?

I know this is getting redundant but the only conclusion I'm coming to is a bad flash. If you can, try re-downloading v3029 and flashing it to bank 1. Should that work, immediately flash it to bank 2. Then we can work from there...

Also you said this is a pre-mod? If so, from where?

ok now its booting up again , i get the x3 menu up and i look at settings etc.. and as i look around it crashes about 1 min or 2 mins after booting upand i get a flashing ORANGE LIGHT! any clues at all?

As soon as you boot to the X3 menu, immediately reset it to it's defaults. I had a long, drawn out issue like this and the reset did it for me. Strange as it sounds...

first i flashed using a dvd and now cd
then tried HTTP but problem is i goto get the flash file from desktop and the damn box resets before i can flash it
