OK, first it seems that you have NOT read the top sticky on the main forum, because you have given us close to NO information.

We don't know what ver Xbox you have, version chip, (red board or no) WHICH Bios file you are using, (ie the X3 3108, or the X3 3108v16plus) if it was from xbins etc.
I would suggest that you try taking OUT the power/eject adapter.
(It is NOT needed for the chip to work, you just won't be able to disable the mod)
Once you find out if that fixes it, you can move onto a permenant solution.

well its a strange thing. i have a 1.4 xbox. i flashed with the 3029 bios and not crap would work , so i gave up unplugged my xbox and went to the bar and shot pool came home decided ! HELL WITH IT! gonna try again
i powerd up the xbox and low and behold IT WAS WORKING ! strangest thing ever

stays up for about 15mins and crashed again to orange lighted eject button. WHAT NOW GUYS?

This may also be down to a solder splash on the board or a damaged track. May also be due overheating. (from FAQ)

You most likely have a shorting connection or a dirty solder job. If you did the pin header install look for pins 13, 14

This other idea I have seems like voodoo but for some reasons when you first get x3 config live working you have to go to the skin selection in the x3 config live options and select "default" not having that selected initially causes some weird errors. Perhaps its telling the system that you are over heating. Its a glitch for the 3108 bios.. maybe its and old problem?

Another thought on over heating - open your xbox up and let the air vent, get some cool air blown on it to drive the temperature down. 15 min sounds like enough time for it to heat up and crash. maybe you should select your system fan to blow faster. Select that in your x3 config live after you get rid of the default skin glitch.

Lastly, get the new bios for the system. 3108 v16 if you have 1.6 mobo
