I have modded alot of xbox system's but this is the 1st time I have ran into this problem. I am modding a 1.6 xbox with the x3 chip. Installation went fine, but I got to the flashing part and my troubles began. I am using X3 3029 v16plus.bin bios. I use FTP flash all goes well, but after it powers off when I try to power it back on with the chip enabled it just shuts right back off. this is my 1st x3 mod by the way. but I followed all the guides I could find and everything went well up to this point.
Flashing Problem i have never ran into before? Any help will be welcome.

undo everythign then redo it.. maybe soldering lpc rebuild.. header pin, flux works great.. hope this helps

I double checked my soldering and still getting the same effect. Anyone have this happen to them?

Try booting another bank with FlashBIOS and if it still works, it may have been a bad flash.

Hows your problem, fixed? I got exact same problem on banks 5678 with X3 3029. But if I reflash it with 2914, it works fine. I am afraid of trying 3029 on my banks 1234.
