My friend got his xbox modded at system-mods.com with an X3 and a X3 control
panel. The chip is white and red. Now he wants me to flash it. At first I couldn't flash it because there was something wrong with the control panel. So I disconnected the control panel, and made sure flash protection was OFF on the chip itself.
Then I tried flashing throught HTTP with IE. I connected fine, chose my BIOS and and began the upload. The progress bar appeared, but a little above it, it said "Erase failed".
Also, sometimes when I turn on the xbox with the modchip enabled it goes to the FlashBIOS screen, but when I reboot the xbox it just turns on and off, and then frags. So I have to unplug the xbox and wait for a few hours before trying again. This problem was happening before I disconncted the control panel. Any Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
