As I'm sure you collected from the last response, if you have an X2 chip of any kind you should NOT be putting on an X3 Bios.

Give us the rundown, or we can't help.

I want box version, chip version, installation type,(solder/no solder) stock or upgraded HD, and last but not least type of Bios switch. (Stock or pro)

I have a X3 chip that had a X2 Bios on it previously and i wanted to upgrade to the X3 because hdd. I have a upgraded HDD its western digital it is lockable and all that stuff. I have a Stock switch. The box is version 1.0 and the installation type is soldering using wire install method it did run perfectly fine before. Ill look back on in the morning i gotta go to sleep.

none of you have a single clue what you are doing. you have read no instructions whatsoever and have given us absolutley no information to help you.

using anything but the latest X3 bios on an X3 mod is a complete waste of time.

do yourselves a favour. read the instructions and start again - no wonder are messing this very simple process up.

OK, i'm having the same problem and i can give you a little more insight into the problem. When i installed everything, i have a 1.0 so i had to desolder in order to use the pin header (dumb move, should have done wire install), as a result i messed up a trace and my xbox wasnt working at all..., i fixed that up, but now im having the same problem as these guys. I flashed X3 bios 3108 on bank 1234, it would just start up and turn off (no on and off and on and frag, just plain off thats it). then i tried the other 5938 bank or whatever it is and same problem. So now im using my backup bank (hold in eject and power buttons so i get purple X) to flash new bios's. X3 bios 1959 wont even work for me, it just has a blank screen and thats it. any bios newer than 2914 and it just frags or just shuts off. the ONLY bios that works for me is 2914, and it doesnt save any settings when i turn it off. so THATS whats going on...please if anyone can help id really appreciate it.

How are you flashing you chip, and where are you getting the bios from? I have downloaded the newest bios recently and i'm having no probs at all. It must be to do with the way you are flashing or the bios itself, (although if you get it from xbins i'll pretty much guarantee its o.k.)

i got mine from xbins sorry for the long response wasnt here for a while so anyWAy. i would have the lights go on and all that stuff but it would turn off if i had the x3_3108 bios in it i used the file on xbins called FlashX3 and i think it has a X3_1463 bios and the only think that would be wrong is that it would stay on enabled but it wouldnt give me any audio or video.

Alright I have a similar problem. but i believe that it is because I flashed with the wrong version of X3 BIOS, the other person said they held the reset and the power button at the same time, but I don't know what the reset button is(I am a noob). I have a premodded Xecuter 3 CE and I basically need to get back to the FlashBIOS 3.0.3 screen, and I need to reflash my chip with the v16plus of X3 BIOS

you're gonna wanna hold in the eject and power buttons to get into the backup bios...
