Flashing Question

Ok i have successfully flashed a Hitachi 59dj. I also did a restore and reflashed just to make sure i did it right and it works perfectly.
I have NO idea what my SATA chipset is but it worked.

My cousin is begging me to flash is 47dj and i said i would after i confirmed a few things. If my SATA chipset worked for my 59 will it work for sure on his 47. Cause the last thing i want to do is ruin his xbox.

You should be fine, I've never heard of a chipset working with 59 but not the older Hitachi's.
