just got my xbox w/ x3 chip and when i press the power button a screen comes up and tells me to get service also when i turn it on by pressing the eject button it goes to a screen for flashing it. please help

You posted the same thing about 3 times - I've removed the other posts.
I read from the others that you had Error 16, which you could have posted here.
Disable the chip.
Boot to MS dashboard.
Set date and time.
Switch off and reenable chip.

Hi mates,
First of all, Thanks for read my topic and sorry for my bad inglish, so let me try explain my trouble, i has flashed my xbox Benq with Iprep IXtreme 1.61, but for my unluck, i raw out energy in my home, of couse, my flashing go to space... so i was tryied reflash my xbox benq, but i got, the Iprep again, so it read the four banks like normal, but when this try erase then to write, i got the bad check sun, and the unlike red light appears with error 64, i tryed use Jungle Flash but my machine frozen, i´m not a expert flasher with jugle Flash. Some one got some kind trouble like that?

manually half open your benq drive (maybe it has some firmware on it)
then hook it up to jungleflasher (running up as administrator)
under the mtkflash tab, press intro/device id
assuming you sent the command to the correct port, you should get good flash properties
then you can use your iprep back up to prepare a new LT firmware (or whatever firmware you want) to flash onto the drive

i donwloaded JF 1.72, i can see my drive (in vendor mode) but, one or two seconds later my pc freeze, just back a few seconds later of my xbox turned off....

How i can do it with DOS? With I prep? In the Iprep when i try read the 4 banks i got error, and if i try erase or write, i got the same, error... Could you explain how i can do it by DOS? a little tutorial will help me a lot.
