flashing red green

hey guys i'm a newbe here and just trying to get some help, i have a xecuter2.6 and a version 1.6b, i tried to flash my bios, the flashing went thru, and no i get nothing only a blank screen and flashing red green, that is on bank one, on bank two i can boot the ms dashboard. also, i for some reason when i turn off the xbox it comes right back on, if i hold down the power button it comes back on in a couple of minutes


any helP?

First thing I'd do is try and isolate the power problem. Remove the chip from your box and see if it is doing the same thing with the power. If you still have the problem with the box powering up on it's own you'll want to start looking around for a possible solder splash/bridge (including possible "tall" solder joints that could touch the shielding plate underneath the motherboard), check that connectors are plugged in correctly and that you haven't damaged any of the wiring.

There is little point in trying to troubleshoot a mod problem if there is an unsolved issue with the base box itself.

it worked fine before i tried to flash my bios, bank one came up as the Flashbios 3.03 screen, but i'll check the solder points again, thanks for the help
