flashing slims(clarificartion)

hi guys real quick i would just like some clarification on a couple things..ive flashed all the phats .ive yet to do a slim.
now for starters can i use my via sata chipset for slims? or do i absolurtly need a x360usb ?
i have ck3 and probe2..and have made a pmt probe
for doing phats.
and am i correct if i get the sputnik probe i can write to any slim liteon?thats mxic...but if its winbond then the only way is kamikaze..??

and i have been googling for days..thats why i just wanted to double check ,,honestly theres so much info when googling it has just confused me even more,lol so thanks in advance guys fopr your help!

yea i shoulda known better ..to think i might actually get some straight forward answers...even in the noobs section. i thought twice about posting my questions but figured what could it hurt..
and yes i have flashed every phat..im not asking about phats im asking about slims..
what does winbond and kamikaze hack have to do with phats..?

whatever forgive me for assuming that i could ask a question in a forum.wowi have done my research.ty
maybe i shoulda completly flooded the forums with 20 threads asking tghe same thing..i could got my answers or if i hijacked someone elses thread ..as it seems these kind of people get more answers that way.geesh...been on here for almost 2 years and have posted a handfull of times..and its always only to maike sure i was processing the info i already knew was correct..
but ty guys anyway..and yes of course ive read the jungleflasher pdf..but yopu know whart sometimes things change easier methods are found some become obsolete. wich is all i really was asking..so i guess this thread is deaD..as you guys would rather sit on your high horses rather than.say yes you are correct or a simple no you might want to double check theres a easier method out now...but whatever..ty for your help.

Yeah when I owned a ZX spectrum I had to hack every one of my games myself so I could put it on micro drive!! MYSELF!!!
