Just successfully Chipped my uncles 1.2 Xbox with a 2.6 ce and flashed with x2_5032_vOLD_512k and was well chuffed with results .
But because I Was chipping his I Thought I would have a go at my crystal 1.6 , because Im Generally an idiot i went for the good ole solderless xapt3r 1.6 and Everything was going fine , Even got all the pesky Legs in first time
. Occasional cut out due to it not being secure ( anyone have any tips about this? ) But other than that, everything was Dandy .
Put everything back together and Hooorah . Cromwell D: . So away i went and Flashed via ftp and like the fool that i am , Flashed with x2_5032_vOLD_512k which is What i did with the 1.2 xbox and not x2_5032_v16plus_512k . Suffice to say it didn't Sucessfully Boot I Switched to Bank 2 and flashed Bank 1 again . This time flash was unsuccesful , I started gettin worried and had a think about it for 5 minutes and then realised eventually about x2_5032_v16plus_512k . Off to Bank 2 again and Flashed bank 1 again now with v16 , It boots i think , But i only get a blue screen now . Ms dash boots ok when The chip is off so I am Quite worried and don't want to Erase Cromwell ( And if so , Do i have to Make it 512K )
What i was wondering was if i Reflashed it with cromwell and tried again would it make a difference . Or have i buggered up memory bank 1.
