Flashing troubles, need help!!

Alright, I am really new at all this and I have done alright by me. I got everything installed and it boots up great. When I flash the chip, it tells me that everything is working, and the box turns off by it self. What is supposed to happen when I turn it back on?

the first time it should boot into the x3 config live program.

it boots up to the flash screen again....it is a vicious cylce of endless nonsense...very frustrating.

what bios are you flashing it with? flashbios?

You are flashing the bios with the bios it comes with (lol)! If you have an X3CE modchip you need to use the x3.3294 bios BUT we need more info on your Xbox version so as to let you know which EXACT bios to use.

thanks guys, i know i know i am a super noob.....so what bios do i need now....my box is version 1.6.....it is brand new

Like ONER said...you need X3_3294v16 since you have a v1.6b (I assumed, because you're flashing on flashbios3.03).
