sorry i accidentally pressed post even if im not done yet. here's my complete post:

hi,i made a post last week on how to update my xenox xbox 360 w/hitachi v59 drive to lt+2.0 so i could play xgd3 disc and a lot of kind people here helped me & i was able to do it.

my problem is i cant get 90% of the xgd3 disc to work. it always say..the disc is unreadable. but when i try it on my jasper unit w/ liteon drive everything works so my disc are ok & when i try all my older games, all worked w/o any issues. now someone told me that the lt+2.0 for hitachi isnt perfect so he had a similar unit like mine & he brought it to a shop far away from my place to have the hitachi drive of his 13599 dash xenon unit changed to benq drive & all the xgd3 games now works w/o issues.

i have spare benq drive from my friends defective falcon xbox 360 that he gave me,can you guide me how to change my hitachi drive to benq or can you point me where or a guide that i could follow?

my 2nd problem is..i have a friend who has a flashed 12625 dash lt+1.91 xbox 360 slim w/ 0225 liteon drive and i wanted to update his console to lt+2.0 and 13599 dash. i have a spare unlocked 9504 drive board & 0225 drive board also. can i use my spare 9504 or sputnik unlocked 0225 mxic driveboard to update his console to 13599 so it wont lock his driveboard then ill flash his 0225 drive board to lt+2.0. is this the right procedure? or if you have abetter one can you guide me or point me to tutorial how to do it?

thanks in advance hope you can help & guide noobs like me.

btw,i use x360 usb pro & ck3i

Firstly, are your XGD3 backups full proper burns with a modded iHAS drive or are they burnt with the truncate method. If they are burnt with the truncate method then they will not work on Hitachi's as they only support full proper 8GB+ burns.

Drive spoofing is not supported anymore but if you will only be playing offline and on the 13599 dash then you can try spoofing the BenQ as your Hitachi but just make sure you embed your drive key across to the BenQ CFW before flashing.

Regarding your friends slim 0225 drive. If it is a 0225 drive then it is already locked but if you have it on LT+1.91 then it would have either had the kamikaze hack done to it or a replaced PCB on it. Regardless of which method it is you should still be able to unlock/lock the drive fairly easily as the kamikaze hacked method only requires a spark and the replacement board could also be soft or hard unlocked.

As Raven saidif your using truncated backups it will now work, the hitachi firmware only supports full 8.7gb burns
