Flashing X2.6 CE Via Network

Hi, I just installed a chip in my mates box, first time I've used a 2.6 and this new config live bios for them.

Well I flashed via network, banks 1 & 2 with flashbios and bank 3/4 with the x2 cl bios. The xbox boots up fine and says -

XECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING

on boot up and the xbox seems to load fine but refuses to play any copis giving the normal message this is not a recognised format blah blah as if the chip is off.
The only thing I can think causing this is the .ini - hence my question.. How do I put the x2config.ini on the xbox now if I've flashed via network in flashbios?? Or does the bios automatically write one on there, and if so, why isn't it playing non signed code?

Ok so its defaulting to defaults with no .ini there, but why doesnt it wanna play unsigned code, its definately booting fine with the config live message at the beginning and the xecuter rox my box logo etc :/

I am however not using a third party dashboard, and didnt really want to, its for a reasonably young child of a friends and he only wants to play his games on it so its less confusing to leave one off.. Im puzzled.

Well.. **** me, dropped a different game in and it works :S Other game works fine in my own box. I could smash these little buggers sometimes.

Well seems I've answered my own question :/
