Flashing X3 with X3 BIOS Stops 3/4 of the way

I have a new 1.6 Xbox with and X3 installed (Header install with LPC rebuild).
FlashBios is 3.0.0

When I try and flash the bios to X3 1959 or 2913 on either 1Mb bank it:

1) Erases the bios
2) Attempts to flash the bios but stops at 3/4 done.

I have left it for some time but it doesn't move.

I have flashed the EvoX Bios without problem.
I have flashed FlashBios 3.0.1 without problem (just to check).

I have read lots of posts/faqs. The only one than came close was http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24588&highlight=flash+pausing

But it didn't work.

I have resoldered (3 times all the contacts including 13+14)
All Power lights are one.

I'm going mad!

Can anyone help?

have you tried all that was on last thread ?

have you tried removing the control panel ?
have you tried switching to different banks ?
are you flashing from disk or http ?
where did you get the bios files from ?

How r u flashing....try putting the bios file onto your HDD ..
ie boot evox and ftp your bios to a folder c:\bios (it has to be in this folder to work with Cromwell Flashbios)
then boot your cromwell flashbios and select flash from hdd.

Also make sure your bios is good...ie from xbins
