Flashing Xec3 HTTP problem

Ok, My xecuter 3 has been a huge pain so far... I finally have it booting flashbios but It freezes if I dont pick an option quick and the options dont always come up... well ok, I get into http, get a DHCP Ip and everything... and I can get the http flashbios thing to open in internet explorer.. but when I tell it to upload and flash the bios it times out/ doesnt find a page or w/e from there.... what is wrong? also when I ping the DHCP IP it gives me It times out even though the MAC address matches it...


help would rock, it wont read any of my CD-rws.... I dont have the bios on the hdd.. and this isnt working... next time I stick w/ my solderless chip I had in..

What version is your Xbox :?: If its the V1.6b you'll need to get your X3 flashed with flashbios V1.0.3 on another Xbox. Other than that I don't know M8. I hope this helps in a small way.

Im on a version 1.0.... I previously had a xecuter 2.3blite + but eventually want LCD support so I traded it for my friend's xec3... soo ya.. this is a pain in the freakin rear.... thanks for the help though..

Ok, I finally just flashed the 1 and 2 banks off of the hdd.. Now I get a BLACK screen on boot...

I did the pin 13 and 14 resolder.. they look great... but it still does the same thing....

also, i cannot boot the backup bios... or get the MS dash at all... even with all the banks off... If I press and hold the power button it goes into a Quick FRAG and once I let go of the power it boots with the xec3 ON... Also I tried to flash the 3 & 4 and it stopped 1/3 way through... so the only way I can get flashbios right now is with all 4 banks ON...

so ya, my backup isnt working, cant get MS dash, and Im getting a black screen....

Help... please....

I havent ever been able to get into the backup... the whole time I have had it in.. even before i got any picture or w/e...

I resoldered 13 and 14 again.. still the same thing.. w/ 1 and 2 on I get no picture but it all seems to work fine besides that..... wtf!?

It WORKS! I resoldered EVERYTHING and finally got it goin.. by golly.. thanks guys... sorry Im a thick headed Noob.. I'll try to help other people like me so you all can take a break.... thanks!

Help me flash my stock 74850c drive with LT (CK3 pro/probe)

I haven't yet modded the drive. So how to flash it? Should I follow the same procedure as with 1.6? afterdawn tutorial

Also I don't intend on playing on Live till my warranty is over. So should I upgrade to 1.6 or LT?

1. Jungleflasher tutorial should always be used when using Jungleflasher - that one on afterdawn is outdated!

2. LT - best bet by far
