I have an xecuter 3 chip. I tried making a cd and DVD with the bios on it and the first bank is messed up. Second, I tried flashing the second bank through networking and it seemed to work but then it just got stuck in flashing process. Does this mean I cant flash the chip anymore? What can I do on the other banks?

You can reflash them no problem. Just boot into the backup rom by holding power and eject when you turn on your box
I have tried doing that but it will not work. Isn't the backup only 256kb? Or how does the backup work?
do what KissMyWookie told you. Press on both power and eject buttons and you will see your X3 control panel turn purple and flashbios should appear on your tv screen. Make sure to use stock a/v cable.

well, you need to set the switches to the banks where you want to flash your bios to. For example, on on off off off for banks 1234 or off on off off off for banks 5678
ok, sounds good. So, even though I turn the xbox on with settings of ( on on off off off) it turns on and off 2 times then it frags, I should press both eject and power button for the backup and it turns on. (This much I know). When I put in the bios lets say 1959, it should replace the messed up file that was there when I first tried flashing it?
Thanks alot for the help. Now, I had a friend flashing the messed up bank through the backup through network and it will not allow it to connect. I tried it on the second bank without the backup and it seemed to be flashing when it got stuck 1/4 of the way causing the 2nd bank to mess up. I've tried flashing over these banks again but no success. Could it be that I have a bad chip?

I have tried flashing the chip through networking. Since I have two banks messed up (1st and 2nd bank), I have accessed the backup with the switch set to (on on off off off) for the first bank. (If I don't access the backup then the xbox frags because of the messed up bank.) I am trying to put the most recent FlashBios (3.0.3) in this bank, is it possible to do this? The flashbios isn't big enough for this bank, so what can I do to put it in through networking?
