hi,

I am a total newbie. I bought my slim already flashed with LT+ already indtalled.
I have not updated my dashboard to the latest one as i believe it will lock my drive.
I have bought the CK3 pro and the x360 usb pro and have hooked this up to the drive and its defo the 9504 drive that comes up....
I dont have the cd OFW so dont know what to do...
is there a step by step guide on what to do?
I would like to install the latest LT1.9 but dont want to lock my drive...
Help please...

If you update to the latest dash it will get locked
Do you know if you chip is a winbond or not there is a number on the chip 05 is winbond 03 is the other one if it’s the 03 number then you need to flash back to stock then update then perform the Sputnick hack on the drive either the resistor way the sputnick probe or the sputnick pcb method.
Or you could send your drive to someone on here who will probably do it for you at a price

If it’s the winbond chip you need to return to stock then update then do the kamikazi hack either the drill method the soldering iron method or the knife method
In regards to returning to stock the stock firmware is in the firmware pack available in the usual places and also the tut is in the jungle flasher documentation folder
You just need to pull the key from the drive
Or like above request the service in here and someone can do it for you at a price

hi,
I have the PCB on order and will be with me any day now...

What should i do first? update my xbox online? pleae help...

A step by step guide would be useful as i dont wanna mess up...

so i go online update the console....then replace the Pcb?

I dont have the dummy ofw, or am i missing something?

go online, update the slim, then follow standard flashing guide found all over this forum, an earlier post shows you how.

just to obtain your key.

then when you have read the key replace the board as stated. and flash to that following the guide.

just so i am clear...

I already have LT+ and dont have the key. I update to latest dash which will lock my drive, then replace the PCB, follow the guide for the key then flash with the latest LT? is that correct

You can read the key no matter wether the drive is locked or not - at some point you need to read the key from your existing PCB - get a FULL dump....SAVE IT several times this is important. You want to be careful updateing with LT on your PCB - you may fail the update and be flagged for a ban - flash to stock first - then do the update....then flash the latest LT to your new PCB

managed to get my key and save it. Before i update my xbox on line and replace my pCB do i need to take back to stock?

How do i do this?
