flshbios not found!!!

Hi everybody,a few day before,i had order a x-box modify by xecuter3 base version. The consolle is come,flash with a bios and i don't know what's it name of bank 1-2-3-4.Anyway i don't want that type of bios but i want the executer3 3029.From evox I have flash the bios.X33029 function!
I play flashbios 3.0.3. but the problem is because the x-box's versios is the 1.6a,then that's not compatible.At this time the i install flashbios 3.01 on the bank 8. i playied the consolle and then...the consolle was still..it didn't receive imput by joypad.the backup version wasn't play,and the screen was all black. I had talk to thecnical and he had modify my x-box and he said me he have flashed the bios from flashbios 3.0.3 from ftp.I Can't open the consolle because there is a garancy seal. Can u help me? thanks a lot for your help

You do not need to open the box to flash it. I must say i find it hard to follow your question.

Pls tell me when you push eject/power on boot do you get to flashbios? yes or no
if yes, which version?
which version console do you have 1.6 or 1.6b?

So you say that you have a v1.6 Xbox, and not a 1.6b right? (1.6 has Samsung RAM, and 1.6b has Hynix)

Pressing power + eject at the EXACT same time doesn't work.
I find that I have to press power SLIGHTLY before I press eject, and then continue holding them.

I have a 1.6a I think... Yes,it's in backup mode the switch have the led blue+red on.

1.6 you think? That means that ON THE BOARD you see chips that say Samsung.
(Because 1.6b has HYNIX chips)

So I take it that you mean it is in backup (Blue and Red leds are on the SWITCH) and you still can't see anything?

Sorry I can't open the xbox because I have it in garancy for the installation of chip.The tecnic have speack me he haven't see the 1.6b in his work.
When I press eject+backup the switch is colored "pink" but the tv have not signal from xbox.Sorry for my english...

Are you using an advance a/v pack or the standard? Try it with the standard a/v connectors if you aren't already.

If you are using the audio / video cables that are ORIGINAL Xbox cables, and you see that the switch LED is red and blue, then I would have to say that you have a v 1.6 Xbox.

You see, there are currently 2 working "FlashBios" bioses that come standard on an X3.
FlashBios 3.0.1, and 3.0.3.
3.0.1 works on all Xboxes UP TO version 1.6, BUT the ONLY FlashBios that can run a version 1.6b is FlashBios 3.0.3.

When an X3 comes from the factory banks 1,2,3, and 4 are flashed with FlashBios 3.0.1, and banks 5,6,7, and 8 have FlashBios 3.0.3.

The BACKUP Bios ONLY consists of FlashBios version 3.0.1 and therefore CANNOT run a version 1.6b Xbox.

IF you are having a problem, use the switch sticky post and figure out what you need to do to select bank 5-6-7-8 INDIVIDUALLY and try each one seperately. IF you are lucky then one of the banks will still have FlashBios 3.0.3 on it.

Now make SURE you read the switch sticky since there are only 4 switches, but 8 banks!

I have the "standard" pack of the xecuter 3 not xecuter3 CE.

Try it with the standard a/v connectors if you aren't already.

I can't open my xbox is in garancy



In the bank 1-2-3-4 I have the xecuter3 3029 and at 5-6-7-8 I have the xecuter3 3108.
If I flash the bank and I have at the bank 7 flashbios 3.03 and at the bank 8 flashbios 3.01, anything function.My joypad at flashbios (both the version) is "dead".I can't press A,up,down ecc.

If my xbox is powered in backup mode I can't see anything on my tv....is black!!!

You can't have 3108 on 5678 *and* FlashBIOS 3.0.3 on 7 *and* FlashBIOS 3.0.1 on 8.

I suggest you go speak to whoever fitted the chip for support, as the guarantee is with them.

At this moment I have the 3108 at 5-6-7-8. I have try the flashbios303 at 8 bank and 301 at 7 bank.

If you're able to boot to FlashBIOS, make sure you use the correct 3108 BIOS for your Xbox (the v16plus). Remember to change the bank so you don't flash over your working 3.0.3 FlashBIOS. Either on on off off (1234) or off on off off (5678) is acceptable.

Advance A/v [s video], HD Pack, Standard Rca Port Pack, or RF modulator.

Try to use the standard AV Pack with RCA Outs
