alright 2 questions..

On my x2bios.ini file, I set the "xbox logo" to be blue with green text and the "powered by x2" logo underneath it. also i set the flubber to be red. When i boot up my box, the flubber is red like expected, but after it "zooms out" to go to the xbox logo, it is just a black screen...then the dashboard loads up. nothing too important just a little thing that i want to be able to do.

also, the flubber animation, does it HAVE to be flubber? or can i load up a video from like a mpg file or .vob file to show during the bootup?

ok i lied, 1 last question, on xbins...the latest bios i can find for x2 is like 4975, i could have sworn mine is like 5032...what gives?

look into the x2config.ini file and make sure that show ms logo and show x logo are both set to 1

the flubber is there to stay, it currently cannot be replaced

the latest X2CL bios is on xbins (just checked)
check out the multi version stuff

The displayTmLogo setting only enables/disables the "TM" markers on the X logo and "XBOX." How are you editing your ini file? I would recommend Klutsh's X2 Config Maker which is available at www.x-projects.org. Has a nice preview of the X logo screen.

i used a x2config maker that had a preview pane for the logo, x2 Config Maker v2.7.2[PC]

but i downloaded x2 Config Maker v5035 from that website and it must be an updated version of the program cuz it has options the other one doesn't

and those options are:

; show ms logo
showMsEn = 1

; show x logo
showXEn = 1

so....do i need the 5035 bios to use those in my config file??????

yes it's best to use the latest X2 5035 bios as it does incorporate those 2 options, i'm not sure up to which previous versions had the options as well, but its always good to use the latest one
