Did you make sure the image was 256 colours and not 24bit?

I upgraded to 5035 mtself and do not have the xbox logo anymore but do have the flubber. I just never took the time to trouble shoot why . Cause honestly it does not bother me. But if the problem is solved I guess i could fix mine also. But i can tell you if image is not correct it will not show a blank screen usually just not show the image you told it to instead it will display the rox ur box logo. But i do not get either and i feel sure its simple fix just not looked into it.

For some reason It would not let me edit the above post so I will reson here instead. After readign and seeing alot having this issue I found my problem. upload the attached ini file to "E:" root and make sure to change the file to point to your xbe files as they are more then likely diffrent them mine. And see if you get the logo once you do then edit the file to your needs. *note remane file to .ini had to name it .txt to be able to upload it.*

try using X2config maker when creating your ini file

as for the x2logo...make sure you're naming it properly as x2logo.bmp and the also follow the requirements mentioned before about sizing and 256 colours and that it goes in the root of E

i haven't changed mine since X2 5028 and its always worked fine with every update to current 5035

I Just flashed this to a friend's chip and he does not have a logo either (meaning the whole splash screen with X logo, the XBOX and the Xecuter rox my box). Strange, is this a bug? I would like to ix this for him as he just got a chip and really wanted to do this.

Same thing happened to me. Where can I d/l the x2logo.bmp file so I can place in back into my E: drive?

Well I went and replaced my x2config.ini with the original one contained in the x2_5035 bios package and the logo re-appeared! Looks like this happened. When I used X2ool v1.0.4 it deletes quite a chunk out the x2config.ini file thus eliminating the logo portion. I guess I missed this when I was editing and am probably using an old version of X2ool. (My bad!) Ofcourse I totally missed the header of the acual x2config.ini file AFTER I used X2ool which reads:

; !!!!! DO NOT CHANGE THIS HEADER - THIS X2CONFIG.INI VERSION IS FOR X2 5032 !!!!!

For those who may have done what I done, hopefully this clears things up. I just ended up manually editing my x2config.ini file myself to modify what I wanted to tweak. Is there a newer version of X2ool that I should look for? I tried the website but it comes up "unregistered domain"?

Not that I know of.

You should be ok to edit the ini file using a text editor, the only thing that may cause you trouble is the colour strings - these won't change, so you can copy from an old ini to a new one for X25035.
