Are there any links with a similar problem?
I have a new (very nice X3) and when I try to copy a folder from my XP machine or create a folder on the Xbox HD my connection locks up. What I see on the xbox is a loop of folders, I created a folder for audio then I see a subfolder for audio and another subfolder and so on.
Could it be my very old Dlink router?

Try using Flash FXP or another FTP program.

I have found using XP's native FTP is a bit glitchy, especially when logging straight into the chip.

I had a similar prob, but mine was making the audio folder a file instead of a folder. I solved it by manually creating the folder through Flash FXP and then just copying the contents into it.

Hope that helps.

The problem I ran into is that WS_FTP would not creat a folder when I pushed something over to the xbox. I switched to FlashFXP and it works great. ;)

Thanks!
Flashfxp is the ticket and it seems much faster. Weird how XP eplorer will connect and move files but with errors.
