Watch this xbox i have put on ebay, It wont get cancelled because i made a seperate website on geocities (it took about 2 mins). This is the way to sell chipped xboxes as it has always worked for me and many people i know.

technacilly couldnt thtey remove it becasue it has pictures of evox and xbmc?

No because they can sell it with everything a modded xbox needs except for a chip, so the buyer gets a normal xbox, but with a [Example] 250g HDD. So then they can go get their own Chip to unlock the rest of the puzzle. Its like buying a car without an engine. The Car = XBOX, and the Engine = Chip. So you get the Car, and its loaded with everything you need, and its your responsibility to get the Engine to make it run. :D

They could still take it off ebay because it is illegal to sell, although you need a chip to use the illegal things on the hdd, they are still there.

To get round the E-Bay scanning, just create small tif files of the words you can't use on e-bay (modified, upgraded, back-up) etc, and link to those in your add.

the xbox i am selling is a complete mod and has the chip fitted. the Chip has the illegal x2 bios on it and it has all the usual apps including xbmc.

Yeah, I can't believe how many people are selling hundreds of pounds worth of illegal and pirated XBOX stuff on ebay.They might as well copy money if they're gonna sell counterfeit stuff.

Well, I see your reasoning jackdbum. My guess? I'm sure everything will work out fine. However, I see only one potential problem: this board is watched.

Just make sure you sell to somebody with high ratings and check their feedback. Because a company (say... Microsoft) could bid on your XBox and then get your address. Granted, this is a very paranoid worst-case scenario, but it is possible. Not likely that they would bother with a lone modder: I'm sure they are much more worried about, say, the entire modding scene. I was just throwing that out there.

But, as I already stated, I doubt this would ever happen. I'm sure your auction will be okey-dokie, and everything will we cool. God speed! ;)

I said they could remove it. A month ago there were hundreds of illegal XBOX's being sold, now they get removed on the last day of listing.
