RGH Formatting external hard drive issues?

Hi

I know the external drive needs to be formatted to fat32
I have tried 3 different [COLOR=#DD3C42 !important]programs, all formatting to fat32

When i hook up the [COLOR=#DD3C42 !important]external hard[/COLOR] drive to the xbox (jasper), the xbox does not allow me to access it. Instead, it wants to me to format it

If i let the xbox format it, it formats to something like 31.9 or something close to that

Although in fsd3, the hdd [COLOR=#DD3C42 !important]shows[/COLOR] as 497gb

I'm trying to create pathways for fsd to read, but i can't. If i let the xbox format it, i will lose all the data
also tried to copy xex from usb to this hdd, but i cant

Is there a way to install xex to my external hard drive without using a flashdrive? horizon doesnt see my external hdd, only sees the flashdrive

What am i doing wrong?

you need to format the drive in a PC using the tool fat32format

its a cmd line based program but it simple to use

dont let the xbox format it, it partitions off a 16gb part as a MU, waste of time.
