Forza problems

I tried copying forza to my hd and it worked but after i load my game and right before it gets to the part where it asks u something about connecting to the net it just freezes. i turn the chip off and it works just fine but when its on it doesnt go past that part. i have halo2 on my hd and it worked fine until i tried ftping to my system and had my router connected to my xbox. it also wouldnt go past the part where it tries to connect to the net. i disconnected the rj45 off the back and halo2 started working again, so im thinking it was something that i might have done while i tried to connect my xbox to my pc. i dont know what to do, and now that my xbox isnt connected to my pc at all forza still wont work but halo does. could anyone help me or have any suggestions. thnx

i had a problem with forza not loading properly also, after i locked the hard drive once load up the game on the hd. i then unlocked the hd and was able to play it with no problem. also, make sure your ms dash is not set for auto connect to xbox live. hope this helps
