Have you watched Martins soldering vids sticky? Your soldering is terrible mate. Your stby_clk repair isn't good, that point is now bridged offering the HANA no protection as the resistor is redundant. Unless you have a regular resistor on that wire out of shot I'd redo that repair.......or send it to someone that knows what they are doing.

" The 20-watt miniature soldering iron puts out as much power as a 40-watt iron"

"has a maximum tip temperature of 860° F (460° C)"

Far FAR too hot. Also the tip is too big. That's a hobby iron for branding and etching etc.

You'll boil out any flux before the solder even flows. Have you watched my soldering videos?

Went to fix the stby_clk as suggested and totally lifted the resistor

Did not know about this 40 as 20 sh*t, asked the guy at store about one that was around 20, and suggested that one.

Is my board f**ked now?

So you decided to ignore my advice. Well, there you go.

You've not lifted the resistor - you've lifted the pads too.

It's repairable, but by someone who knows what they're doing (and in fact if you can solder it's not that hard to fix).

That's what happens when you use a craft/hobby iron on micro SMD points.

As informed, this can be fixed, but with what you have been doing so far I wouldnt take that chance, as IT IS STILL REPAIRABLE. Go practice on a dead or PCB board until you get the hang of it, and get rid of that hobby solder, get a temp regulated solder station.

I'd def be interested in having it repaired, as long as I can get it done for <$60, since you can get a used 360 for that on ebay.

I'm in New York(Long island) if anyone is interested in sending me a quote on getting the job finished.

Without sounding rude Martin and Blakey are right you need to repair that standby clk first make a scrape trace and fix that . 2 Use alt standby point under board its better to get to . Yes your solder looks cold you need to touch that up as for the pad ,studio it can be done but as you guessed waste of time ,you didnt need to use that . I am a noob on here but there's an old saying research what you want to do . We all make mistakes but knowledge is a powerful weapon . Good luck in getting your board up and running.
