installed chip all is good installed bios all is good few minutes later try to disable chip to play a game got frag 13 i tried searching coulnt find anything any help would be appreciated

i dont remember doing anything to it ,hd info says model,serial,capacity,hd is locked,supports locking and then a lock key # i was waiting to install new hd after i got a dashboard hopefuly this will heip any thanks

why don't you go ahead and run us through everything you've done up to this point. It would help a lot in trying to figure out where something went wrong.

ie: You installed a x3? on a 1.6b,1.6,1.5??? board, loaded XXXX bios, changed the stock hd? etc,etc...

x3 chip v1.1 bios 1959.no new hd as of yet, no dashboard as of yet i did go to disk tools ,current hd pushed format all drives why i dont know why sorry,then disable the chip got fragged

I knew you'd done something with the HDD !!!

So you formatted your Xbox HDD?

Want to know why you're getting Error 13? Because there's no MS dashboard on there.

You'll need an install disk like Slayers 2.6 to reinstall the MS dashboard on your HDD. I'd suggest READING EVERYTHING in future. Formatting your HDD will ERASE YOUR HDD.

Once you boot from Slayers, just run

3b2) RESTORE RETAIL XBOX HD TO FACTORY

And it should fix it all for you.

Playing burned games on a BenQ drive

i have a BENQ dvd drive and am wondering how would i go about playing burned 360 games on it. I have been reading around and so far what i understand that i have to do a process called "flashing" the drive which i have no idea what or how to do it and i also read that i have to flash it with a certain firmware. Now guessing from the upper right, i need the latest BenQ LT Plus 1.1 firmware now my question is how do i flash my dvd drive to get the firmware on so i can play burned games.
