hey,
I am a fairly experienced, however not pro, installer and i had a quick question. I have never done a 2.6, and as such i got to a part that confused me. I have a v1.4 xbox, and the chip install is money. I got to the flash via HTTP section, and did that with the x2 5035 bios for non-1.6 xboxes. Flash seemed to be good...turn on xbox, and the X2 config live loading screen comes up, and then waits for a few seconds, and frags. I have done a bunch of X3's...and they always went straight to the config screen. Anyone have any ideas or have any similar experiences?
Thanks
sorry, i forgot to mention the fact that this box had a 2.3blite in it before, i took it out, and put a 2.6 in (because i lost the on/off switch). THe hard drive is still formatted with all the evox/programs/games that i had on there before the re-install...does this matter? Do i need the original drive to reinstall a chip?
