I have a XBOX V1.6 with an Xecuter 3. I have the X3_1957 bios loaded to it but after flashing, the xbox turns on anf off 3 times and then red blinking light shows up on the eject button. What could this be?? I already reccheck and recheck the wires and they are all fine and secure.

PLEASE HELP!!!

try downloading the 1959 bios and flashing that via the backup bios to the same bank to replace the 1957 bios. make sure it is the bios for the V1.6. hope this helps.

it frags when you move the switches because you are trying to select a bank that has no bios on it. if you want to use a different bios this is how the X3 dois it. So if you only have one bios you don't need to move the switches. :D :D :D

Re: Lite-on drive open tray error after flashing

turn the drive upside down and look at the teeth on the underside
of the tray are any of them broken off?

if so that's why your getting the error cause the tray can't close
all the way with missing teeth
