FRAG??? HELP

I have executer 2.6ce chip and v1.6 board. I did the pin header install hooked up everything fine. When I boot my xbox in the normal M$ dash everything is fine but when i enable the chip..my box boot up and shouts down twice and third time it boots but nothing on the screen with the green and red light flashing. Can somebody help me what have i done wrong...

PS:yes my xbox has the hitachi dvd rom model GDR-8050L(i saw somewhere in the forum people talking about it didnt know if its a bad thing or .. )

It is a problem with your install. What did you use to do the LPC rebuild?

This maybe a stupid question but i'll ask it anyway...did you do the LPC rebuild? I just ask because you haven't mentioned it. Anyway, like Fantmx said...it could be a install problem but you might wanna check your switch too, try to fiddle the switch a little bit and see if it will make a difference.

sorry i forgot to mention about lpc rebuild...yes i did the lpc rebuild....i used the one that came with the chip

That could be an install problem but can be a switch problem too...same thing happened to me and i found the switch to be the problem. Try reading the link below and see if it'll help...

check over your work to make sure you did not bridge any connections or have any bad solder joints that may need touching up
also try swtiching banks and booting up

k...guys i dont know what's goin on...wit the chip..or me..i tried to install the same chip on a different xbox(v1.0) still havin the same problem ...this other xbox i had installed X2.3b pro and everything was fine... but know FRAG...

Does the Xbox work with the chip off? Was the chip flashed? You need to provide more info.

yea works fine with the chip off when i turn the chip on boots two times and third time actually boots and nothing comes on black screen

Try the other bank. The chip comes with flashbios 3.01 on bank 1 (works for all Xbox versions except a 1.6b) and flashbios 3.03 on bank 2 which works on a 1.6b.
